Privacy Policy

LipTry (“we”, “us”) — last updated: April 10, 2026

This policy describes how we handle information when you use the LipTry application (“App”) with your Shopify
store. By installing or using the App, you agree to this policy.

Who we are

LipTry is a Shopify app that provides a virtual lipstick try-on experience for your online store (theme app
extension). The App runs inside the Shopify admin when embedded, and loads scripts on your storefront where you
add the LipTry block.

Information we process

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

  • Shop and merchant identifiers provided by Shopify when you install or open the App (for
    example shop domain, and data needed for OAuth sessions).
  • App session data stored on our servers to keep you signed in to the App (for example in a
    database file or a database you configure).
  • Subscription / billing status as reported by Shopify when you use paid features, so we can
    show plan status in the App.
  • Support messages if you contact us through the in-app support form (for example name, email,
    and the text you send).

Storefront try-on: Camera, uploaded photos, and model images used in the try-on experience are
processed in the shopper’s browser to render the preview. We do not require that you send us those images for
the core feature to work. Do not upload or transmit unlawful or sensitive content through the App.

How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and secure the App.
  • To authenticate you via Shopify and maintain your session.
  • To show plan or subscription status where applicable.
  • To respond to support requests you send us.
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to valid requests (including privacy-related webhooks required by Shopify).

Shopify

Your use of Shopify is subject to Shopify’s terms and policies. We receive only the data Shopify makes available
to installed apps in accordance with the permissions you approve when you install or use the App.

Service providers

We may use hosting providers, databases, or email delivery services to run the App. They process data only to
provide our service and are expected to protect it appropriately.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. When you uninstall
the App, Shopify may send us mandatory compliance notifications; we delete or anonymize app-side data associated
with your shop as described in our technical handling of those events.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or
storage is completely secure.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. We take steps designed to
ensure appropriate safeguards where required.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of
personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a
supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the details below.

Children

The App is not directed at children. Do not use the App to collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “last updated” date.
Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
